Crimson Red Toile de Jouy Scallop Napkins | Hand-Embroidered Set of 6

The original red of Jouy-en-Josas — the colour the very first toiles were printed in, two centuries before anyone called it iconic. Across each napkin, a courtship unfolds in miniature: a swing beneath an oak, a letter half-read, a garden built for lingering. It is the most romantic colourway in our collection, and the most rooted in toile's history.

Printed on densely woven cotton and finished with a scallop edge embroidered by hand, the crimson set is made for the table that intends to be remembered — anniversaries, Diwali dinners, the evenings that earn candlelight. Against white linen and polished silver it glows; against darker tablescapes it smoulders.
